I see it everywhere. The headings on craigslist read ” WordPress Designer” on the computer services tab. Seems like a lot of old static website designers have just jumped on the next money making bandwagon. I don’t blame them. It isn’t their fault, but what about the client? Is it really fair to claim you are something you are not, especially when you are charging a good chunk of money for that service.The main point of using WordPress is for SEO and social media. I talked to my dad the other day, and he said he went to a tweet up and someone was talking about Social Media. A crowd member asked, “How long have you been researching Social Media”? The presenter replied, “3 months”. Now, I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t trust my “baby” ( my business) with someone who has only been a Worpress Designer for 3 months! Are you kidding me? So I wanted to show you what you need to look for when trying to find a WordPress Designer.

What to look for when getting a good WordPress Designer implementing SEO

• Do they have any proof?

• Can they type in a word and have it appear?

• Do they have screen shots of actual results?

• What plugins are they using?

• Are they going to show you reports of keyphrases after they implement them.

• Do they have any testimonials?

• What tools are they using for keyword research?

• How long will what they do last?
