As a webmaster , I'm truely glad to see that someone brought up this topic.

Quite a few people don't grasp the concept of what all is required in this industry, and I think also we are many times underrated
or taken for granted. Never the less I'm glad to see that you may feel the same way I do , thanks so much for your blog!

Hi Darolyn-
Great question. Sprinkling the "anchor text" which is a word linked in a post, shows more added value to a post, and also that deep linking within the site, and also it ads a link using that keyphrase makes it look more important. You are however adding anchor text in "tags" as seen above ex:tagged as:
So it would be nice if you had both , but at least having one is better than none. Most other blogs aren't doing it because I don't think they know! :) For the lazy people if they are lazy and copy a post, they might be lazy and not change a link, so you might be fortunate to get a link lol.

Rachael,

I like the idea of putting the keyword phrase first, I usually put them in the title of my blogs, but not the first words. I also put them in the back of the meta tag, but I will put them in first now. Is it necessary to link the keyword phrases in your blog as well? I don't see many other blogs doing that, besides, it reveals to everyone what keyword phrases you're using. For some lazy people that are looking for blog ideas, won't they just use yours? When they are not linked I think it makes it more difficult to recognize the keyword phrases.
